Students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) often have characteristics that hinder their ability to learn. In order to ensure that these students are still receiving the best possible education, different techniques can be implemented to address these various characteristics. Overall. students with ADHD need to be reminded to stay on task. Teachers need to be proactive with these students and generally with all students. Being a proactive teacher is the best thing any teacher can do for her students. Teachers conscious of they you set up their classroom, provide hands-on activities, and give students a lot of teacher interaction. Students with ADHD need their teacher's support in order to succeed, and there is a variety of techniques to make that happen!
